The Memory Path – a walk around Jewish Warsaw

The exploration of Polish history continues. This time our visitors had a chance to go on a walk tracing the footsteps of Jews in Warsaw. The tour guide showed places related to Jewish communities in Warsaw as well as commemorating tragic events. It has been an important part of Polish history since 30% of Warsaw population in the 19th century was Jewish.
The trip focused on World War II times, reminding that the city was a stage of two uprisings – the Warsaw Uprising and the Jewish Getto Uprising.
